What is the Montessori Method?

The Montessori Method is an educational approach founded by Dr. Maria Montessori, emphasizing hands-on, self-paced, collaborative, and joyful learning. It is grounded in the belief that children learn best when they are free to choose their activities within a prepared environment. Montessori classrooms are equipped with specific materials designed to stimulate independence, concentration, and cognitive development. AGB Montessori applies these principles with a bilingual and Christian emphasis, promoting holistic development in faith and intellect.

How does French immersion work at AGBM?

Our French immersion approach is based on consistent exposure across subjects and activities. Children learn French in natural settings—from classroom discussions and daily routines to songs and storytelling. The goal is functional bilingualism where French is not just a subject, but a living language. Bilingualism at an early age enhances neural development and long-term academic achievement.

Is Christian teaching part of the curriculum?

Yes. AGBM integrates Christian values into every part of our curriculum. We begin each day with prayer and reflection, celebrate Christian holidays, and teach moral lessons rooted in biblical teachings. Children learn about love, kindness, humility, and respect, not only in theory but through daily practice and community involvement.
